GMA Network's 'Yagit' TV review

'Yagit' or 'Mga Batang Yagit' as we all know is an 80's hit drama series which I wasn't able to witness before because I was only born in 90's.  But thanks to GMA Network, we who were born 90's will get a chance to witness this hit drama.

'Yagit' aired today (October 13) on GMA Afternoon Prime after 'The Half Sisters,' but before it aired on the national TV, we already witnessed its pilot episode a couple days ago as GMA Network organized a bloggers' advance preview of the show.

The show was ok, more than ok, honestly I am not fond of GMA Network's drama series before, but for 'Yagit,' I must say this is a quality product of GMA Network, unlike other shows, the creative staff revealed why 'Yagit' stands out to other shows, firstly, the show is shot using a film camera, forgot the camera name, but this was really the first thing I commend and noticed from the show, the feel of this show is somewhat like a movie'ish one, which is how I like TV series to be, because it's like a standard of a Korean series, secondly, the cast, 'Yagit' really has a stellar cast and also the newest child stars from audition, they are really promising, I asked what are these kids required for the roles, creative staff said that they had to stick to what the characters are in 'Yagit' and this involves physical aspects, that's why they came up choosing Chlaui Malayao, Zymic Jaranilla (brother of Jaijan Zaranilla), Judie Dela Cruz and Jemwell Ventinilla who will be Eliza, Ding, Jocelyn and Tomtom in Yagit. The story is great, it is catchy, watching Yagit reminds me of cartoon dramas like Princess Sarah, Ceddie etc because its also really touching and having a heart.

Yagit was a hit before, so I hope everyone of us make this also a hit in this generation for it to be also shown and have another generation in the future! please watch and follow it every weedays on GMA Afternoon Prime after 'The Half Sisters.'
