Lugar Bonito Hotel, your Home in Boracay

Sunday, October 16, 2016

I remember myself dreaming and imagining of going to greece and Santorini during the launch of James Reid and Nadine Lustre's show "Till I Met You." The place is just too beautiful, simple and most of all it seems so romantic there.

It was not that really in my plan to go to Boracay this rainy season but I got a free seafare from an event so then I planned to go to Boracay but funny thing is that I wasn't able also to use that free seafare because I was afraid to travel to Boracay by sea in rainy months so me and my companion ended up booking a flight.

When I am looking for a hotel that time, I remembered "Till I Met You" show of Jadine, and then I browsed hotels and I am so lucky to find what I am looking for, a mediterranean-inspired hotel and more than what I am looking for, I must say my short vacation was made perfect staying at "Lugar Bonito Hotel."

Lugar Bonito Hotel is a boutique hotel located at Station 1 in boracay. They say Station 1 is the best station in Boracay because it is not that crowded.

I think it was the first time for me to check in at a boutique hotel, and lucky to stay at a kind of Lugar Bonito Hotel. I find it really cute, eye-candy, it's a one of a kind hotel, I must say. From the looking at it outside, you can't wait to see how it is even cuter inside.

Lugar Bonito has six rooms total, 6 cozy rooms, inspired by the stark white villas of Greece set against the deep blue waters of the Adriatic Sea. Each room, uniquely and thoughtfully designed, is distinct from every other. Named after ancient Greek words to reflect its own exquisiteness, the Lugar Bonito rooms aspire to fit the needs of the discriminating traveler:

We stayed at Myron (Sweet) room, and from the name itself, it's really sweet and romantic to stay at, well actually all of the rooms are really romantic and sweet for me! I don't know but I really find mediterranean motif to be love motif, I mean it seems a perfect place to be in love, and as speaking, I enjoyed the place even more since, yes I'm in love, with the one I'm with that time.. but we're not that official yet, but we're placing things into place (That's all I can say, no intrigues here hahah), that's why Lugar Bonito Hotel will always be memorable for me and for us, because it has been part of the our journey.

Myron room is small but, just perfect for two people and for couples. I have nothing else to say but cuteness overload! From the bed to the cute chair, to the ladder, to the chandelier, to the CR, I just loved everything there.

Apart from the pleasing appearance, I commend Lugar Bonito for the most cozy experience we felt, you know what lacks in staying in other hotel or some other expensive or luxurious hotel is the homey feel, this is just for me, because if your room at home is that far from the hotel you are staying at, for me you'll feel not that comfortable, you'll feel like namamahay ka. My experience in staying at Lugar Bonito is a smooth-transition for me, because I think it resembles a simple yet classy room, I mean all walks of life can stay here. We really had a good rest here, it just felt like you brought your home in Boracay.

Speaking home, another homey thing here is the people around you here. The owner herself Tita Chiqui is maybe the most accommodating person you'll meet. She personally meets and greets her clients, you don't get that kind of personal treatment at any other hotel!, she's just a call away if you need something. The staff here are very accommodating as well, and you know that different feeling from other hotel that makes you feel you are in a hotel, with the numerous staff and all, at Lugar Bonito Hotel, you'll get a chance to the staff, talk to them, have joke and be friends with them, there's no barrier because you'll just feel like you're at home and these people around you are like your relatives or family members.

Before I forgot to mention, Lugar Bonito Hotel is really a perfect location since it's just across the street from beach with only 10-20 seconds walk to get to the beach. At the roofdeck, you'll have a stunning view of the beach, you can have your free breakfast at the roofdeck, or you can have it in your room also, but I suggest to experience breakfast at the roofdeck because it may be the best breakfast you'll have, having a stunning view of the beach, having a delicious breakfast, with the your special someone lol! with or without, it's perfect, promise! (PS. I love their coffee).

Lastly to mention, Lugar Bonito Hotel is near to every shop you need, it's beside a clinic, in fact it has a drugstore beside the reception, it's also near a 24-rhours convenient store so you don't really need bother for some emergency matter.

So there, if I were to describe my experience at Lugar Bonito Hotel in one word it would be "HOME."

So if you're planning to go to Boracay and want to experience something new and more than the usual hotel you've stayed at before, I recommend you try Lugar Bonito Hotel.
