I remember myself dreaming and imagining of going to greece and Santorini during the launch of James Reid and Nadine Lustre's show "Till I Met You." The place is just too beautiful, simple and most of all it seems so romantic there.
Finally I've been to Palawan! But only been to Puerto Princesa, so I'm so excited to be back the soonest to visit Coron and El Nido and other famous places there, I just loved Palawan. I'll be also sharing my experience in Puerto Princesa City Tour, Honda Bay and The Underground River here. For now let's talk about hotel first, let me share my experience and review of Asturias Hotel Palawan.
After flying from Manila to Puerto Princesa Airport that I think took one hour. There's a hotel transfer provided by the hotel.
I immediately saw kuya with the signage of the name of the hotel (Asturias Hotel). Asturias Hotel isn't that far from the airport. It takes only 20 minutes or less travel time, and most of the hotels are also just along the airport.
Asturias Hotel in Palawan I guess is one of the biggest hotels in the city. I think it has thirty to fifty rooms. From afar and infront, the hotel seems like a big mansion, as you can see in the pictures below. It is big that it has its pool in the middle of the building. Because some of the hotels in Palawan don't have pool, maybe because tourist came to Palawan to be at the beach and not at the pool, but for me, it's still better to have a pool in your hotel for you can swim any time you want and it makes the place instagrammable :)
The hotel has a spacious reception are where guests can have a seat while waiting, welcome drinks are served.
Let's proceed to the room, I checked in at their superior room. The room is nice, spacious, it has a queen-size bed and another smaller bed. The room is air-conditioned, with Television with cable, office table.
Has a nice comfort room, it's one of I always check at every hotel I visit. Heater is available and there is a bathtub you can enjoy.

The pool is cute, surrounded by plants and trees, it seems you are in the middle of the ocean. It also has Jacuzzi.
Breakfast is free, and entitled to the guests of the hotel. The breakfast is buffet :)
Asturias Hotel Palawan is definitely one of the best and luxurious hotel in Puerto Princesa to stay at. So I'm giving it a 3.5 out of 5 rating. If there's only complain I have, is that the staff failed to remind me of the checkout time, I know its 2 pm, but its first time for me to have a tour in my last day, so what happened is I was charged for late checkout. I don't know, maybe for the excitement of the tour, I forgot or I did not anticipated that we can return to the hotel at the right time to have checked out, anyway that's my only concern, no staff in the reception reminded me, when in the morning I have talked to them for the tour that day. But nevertheless, it was a pleasure-able stay at Asturias Hotel Palawan.
Best Western Plus Hotel Subic Review + Ocean Adventure Experience

It's better to be late than never. I should've posted this earlier because this trip in Subic was last december 2015 but I became busy the past months and weeks. So I am only posting this today, in March, good thing that its more relevant to post this in March since it's summer season already. Best Western Plus Hotel Subic invited us bloggers to experience and review the hotel.
It was my first time to be in Subic, and my expectations of the place never failed me and my experience was made best staying at Best Western Plus Hotel Subic.
I was excited to stay at "Best Western Plus Hotel Subic" because I have heard Best Western Hotels are really nice and worthy to stay at. Best Western Plus Hotel Subic is the first and only branded hotel by Best Western in Subic.
Spencer Fusion Resturant at Best Western Subic Plus Hotel
When we arrived at the hotel, we were served lunch at the hotel's Spencer Fusion Hotel. The resto's food was really delicious and I loved the resto's interior.
Too bad, I missed to take photos during our lunch there, but able to take photos of my breakfast the next day.
After having lunch, we immediately got our room key card, with the hotel's picture in it, look how nice and beautiful the hotel id, it has this flowing water effect from the infinity fool.

Deluxe Queen Room - Best Western Plus Subic Hotel
I so love the room, it is spacious the color palette combinations of the interiors of the room really blended well, I like the browny-goldy combination.
One of the first things I checked most of the hotels I have stayed is the comfort room and bathroom. I am happy with Best Western Subic Hotel's.
If you are on a business trip, wanna bring your office with you, Best Western Plus Hotel Subic will surely be best for you, becasue your room can also be your office at the same time.

Of course I won't be missing the pool! Best Western Plus Hotel Subic's pool is located at it's rooftop. You will see a beautiful view of the subic bay from there. The pool is quite big, there's a sauna beside it that you can enjoy also.
The building behind me in the photo is the gym, yes that's one of Best Western Plus Hotel Subic that you can enjoy.
Look how I enjoyed the sauna and the view! This is definitely one of the best view to witness.
Kuya Ted (Wazzup.ph) and I, exploring and having fun at the pool, as you can see there are still some construction on-going that time, but surely this time it is fully furnished.

We had an after-presscon party at the pool, the fun at Best Western Plus Subic Hotel never stops!
Ocean Adventure Experience
Again lucky enough to experience Best Western Plus Hotel and Ocean Adventure at the same time, friends from Best Western Plush Hotel Subic arranged a tour for us bloggers, and Ocean Adventure welcomed us warmly!
I enjoyed the different activities at Ocean Adventure like the Fish Spa, shows like the Sea Lion Show, Dolphin Show and I will really treasure the most my first encounter with the Dolphins and my first kiss with it! Dolphins are really smart, they can shake hands / shake fins with you, they can wave goodbye and more! I want to have a dolphin pet. :)
Indeed my visit in Subic was really memorable.
