Les Misérables is a 2012 British musical drama film produced by Working Title Films and distributed by Universal Pictures. The film is based on the musical of the same name byAlain Boublil and Claude-Michel Schönberg which is in turn based on Les Misérables, the 1862 French novel by Victor Hugo.
The film is directed by Tom Hooper, scripted by William Nicholson, Boublil, Schönberg and Herbert Kretzmer, and stars an ensemble cast led by Hugh Jackman, Russell Crowe,Anne Hathaway, and Amanda Seyfried.
Thank God, Les Miserables Philippine Premiere(take 2) was successful, I may be one of the most excited person to see the film. Remembering my Highschool days, we did a Musical Presentation of Les Miserables, that gave me more excitement to finally see it on Silver Screen.
Les Miserables movie was really like watching the Live Theater Presentation, as all of the lines were delivered in a song tune, I never thought they would present the movie very theatrical, but I loved it because I really felt I was watching it in Live in theater, and to know that there was no dubbing of their voices, recorded live,it was really impressive.
Les Miserables was an emotion full packed movie, as I laughed, cried, screamed and most of all, I felt the Love!
Watching Les Miserables won't just let you cry - you will be wiping and singing simultaneously!
So beautifully cast and beautifully done!
