I seldom watch Theater-Plays, despite of that, Theater-plays have a place in my heart. Theater-Plays are unlike TV-Dramas that can be re-taped or re-action, in Theater you must practice the whole stuff and showcase the stuff in one blow, that's why I idolize every theater performer / artist because I know that it seems harder than Plays/Dramas in TV Series.
Recently, I attended the Presscon of "They're Playing our Song; A Musical Comedy". Presented by 9 Works Theatrical. Starring (Return of Singe-Actress to stage) Nikki Gil and Lorenz Martinez. Directed by Robbie Guevara.

The story goes. Well-known composer Vernon Gersch meets aspiring offbeat female lyricist, Sonia Walsk. It’s the token story of boy meets girl, boy falls in love with girl, girls falls head over heels for boy – only, the kookiness of Sonya interspersed with the wisecracks of Vernon leads to one hilarious scene after the other.
Based on the real-life relationship of the show’s Broadway creators, the late, great Tony Award-winning composer Marvin Hamlisch (“A Chorus Line”) and Grammy Award-winning songwriter Carole Bayer Sager (“Michael Jackson,” “Celine Dion”), THEY’RE PLAYING OUR SONG takes a peek into the trials that both Sonia and Vernon undergo before finding true love.

During the Presscon, Nilkki Gil performed the romantic song "Fallin", and if I'm not mistaken "They're Playing our song" was also performed by the cast. That was my first time meeting Nikki Gil in person and watched her perform live. She was a really good performer, she deserves to do this play. She was also nice, after the presscon we had a photo shot together.
I'm inviting everyone to support and watch "They're Playing Our Song" this Coming February! this play will make our Valentine month more romantic! Let us watch together with our loved ones!
